A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Paul C. Bunn Elementary School!

It is my privilege to welcome you to Paul C. Bunn Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year. As principal, I am honored to serve a school community that is committed to creating an environment where every student is known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

At Paul C. Bunn, we believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels when provided with high expectations, meaningful support, and opportunities to succeed. Our work is grounded in a shared commitment to academic growth, student well-being, positive relationships, and a safe and welcoming school environment.

Our expectations to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe are more than words displayed throughout our building. They represent the values we strive to model and develop in our students each day. We want our students to become confident learners who demonstrate kindness, perseverance, responsibility, and respect for themselves and others.

We also recognize that educating children is a partnership. Strong relationships among students, families, staff, and our community are essential to student success. We value family voices, open communication, collaboration, and the important role our families play in supporting learning. Together, we can create opportunities for our students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our dedicated staff works each day to provide high-quality instruction, respond to the individual needs of our learners, celebrate student growth, and create a school where children feel that they belong. We are proud of our accomplishments, but we remain focused on continuous improvement and on becoming even better for the students we serve.
